Community Service - Head Start Program

My classmate and I participated in the Head Start Program through our Dental Hygiene course. We went 4 times to the Head start classroom! We made lesson plans, newsletters, parent letters, and educated the kids about oral hygiene. Our lessons included : Functions of the mouth, Plaque, Nutrition, and a Visit at the Dental Office. It was so much fun being in the community and having an impact in these little lives! I look forward to participating in Head Start next year.
