Community Service - Head Start Program

My classmate and I participated in the Head Start Program through our Dental Hygiene course. We went 4 times to the Head start classroom! We made lesson plans, newsletters, parent letters, and educated the kids about oral hygiene. Our lessons included : Functions of the mouth, Plaque, Nutrition, and a Visit at the Dental Office. It was so much fun being in the community and having an impact in these little lives! I look forward to participating in Head Start next year.

DH Alumni Weekend/27th bday

I took a break from studies to celebrate my 27th birthday and celebrate Dental Hygiene Alumni weekend at the Omni! It was fun to celebrate with older DH graduates.

Dental School Skit Night

Spring Semester!

Here's to making it to the Spring semester! It's been great so far. 20.5 Credits and clinic 3 days a week! It is busy but amazing at the same time. Here are a few good memories! Many more to come!
